Tips on how to save money
Amazingly some people have never saved money! Did you have a piggy bank
when you were a child? Did you have a savings account which you paid
in your savings?
If you didn't learn how to save when you were a child then you might
need a few hints on how to get you started.
So if you want to start saving a nest egg read on!
- Get a tin or jar and put your spare change into it every night. Save
this up, take it to the bank every month. Don't dip into it!
- Open a special savings account.
- If you're saving with a specific target in mind make yourself a chart
to see how you're doing!
- Differentiate bewteen things you have to have - food and shelter
(the essentials) and the things you want
- Try to put aside a part of your salary every month to save. You could
direct debit this money out of your account to make sure this happens
(Take it out when you get paid and by the end of the month you won't
notice its gone! Whereas if you wait until its the end of the month
you might have nothing left)
